<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work on 36-bed medical telemetry unit (5W Medicine 610) at Mission Hospital Main Campus<br>• Day shift staffed with 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 HUC and 1-2 sitters with current ratios of 1:5/6<br>• Night shift staffed with 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 3 CNAs, 0.5 HUC and 1-2 sitters with current ratios of 1:6/7<br>• Must sign up for 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday count as weekend shifts on night shift)<br>• Required certifications: BLS<br>• Encouraged certification: CMSRN<br>• Must have medical telemetry experience<br>• Preferred qualifications include leadership experience, charge nurse experience, and BSN<br>• Float to medical-surgical units: 3W, 5W, K8 (sister units)<br>• Dress code: Navy blue top and bottom, white top and navy blue bottom, or all white scrubs<br>• Work with medical remote telemetry monitoring, Cerner Patient Observation (CPO), VC150s in every patient room<br>• Use workstation on wheels and Tap and Go for computer/documentation access<br>• EMR system: Cerner<br>• Prepare patients for endoscopy, interventional radiology, and operating room procedures<br>• Must be hard-working, compassionate, team-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This flagship healthcare facility is licensed for 815 beds and serves as the region&#39;s referral center featuring the only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and Level III neonatal intensive care unit.
