ED RN Job in Nashua, NH

St Joseph Hospital - Nashua is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department on a travel assignment. You'll work the night shift, 3x12 hours per week, for 91 days beginning July 6, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,496.60.

Your Role

You will deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned Emergency Department areas. Upon patient admission, you'll assess and obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, X-rays, and other diagnostic tests using appropriate interview techniques. You'll participate in the planning and implementation of written care plans under physician direction and perform standard assessments with basic equipment.

Key responsibilities include administering medications with required visual acuity and hand-eye coordination, maintaining patient confidentiality, and communicating effectively both verbally and in writing. You'll uphold patient safety standards, interact positively with team members and patients, and respect patient culture, lifestyle, religion, and age when planning or implementing care.

Requirements

• Active New Hampshire RN license or eligibility to obtain one
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Clinical experience
• Membership in a professional nursing organization
• Specialty certification
