Medical-Surgical RN Job in Neenah, WI

ThedaCare - Neenah is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Medical-Surgical nursing. You'll work 12-hour night shifts beginning at 5:30 PM on a 3x12 schedule with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to trauma surgical, neuro, and orthopedic patients
• Manage patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 during night shifts
• Perform post-operative assessments and monitoring for neuro and ortho trauma surgeries, including fusions and back/spine procedures
• Manage chest tubes, PCA/epidural/Q-ball infusions, and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
• Float throughout the facility within your skillset and to other facilities within a 60-mile radius as needed
• Document care using EPIC charting system
• Participate in every-other-weekend and holiday rotations

Requirements:

• Current Wisconsin RN License
• AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 3+ years experience as an RN
• Minimum 2+ years Med/Surg experience with at least 1 prior travel assignment
• EPIC charting experience within the last 2 years
• Demonstrated neuro/ortho trauma experience
• Previous travel healthcare experience required
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Black scrubs required

Assignment Details:

Start date: June 22, 2026. Contract length: 13 weeks. No on-call or callback requirements. An 8-hour unbillable orientation is included. Weekly pay: $2,332.80.
