RN - GI Lab

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 or 4x10 hour shifts (schedule to be discussed in interview)
• Weekly weeknight call plus weekend call required
• Currently covers call approximately 1-2 weeknights per week and every 3 weekends
• Must have strong circulating and teching skills for advanced procedures
• Perform ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) managing specialized imaging catheters, sphincterotomy wires, and stents
• Operate EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) equipment and assist with Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) tools for tissue biopsies
• Set up EMR/ESD (Endoscopic Mucosal/Submucosal Resection) equipment including electrocautery, injection needles, and snares
• Handle enteroscopy equipment such as balloon catheters for small bowel visualization and treatment
• Assist with endolumenal surgery including endoscopic suturing, stent deployment, and Endoflip device setup
• Responsible for high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes per SGNA and manufacturer standards
• Must pass open book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score or face termination
• Chart in EPIC system
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• BSN not required
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
