ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• Patient ratio of 1 to 4
• Must wear Caribbean Blue scrubs only
• Auto lunch deductions apply
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
• 2-shift floor-specific orientation required during week one
• Must have 5+ years of experience with at least 1 travel assignment
• Must have Meditech 6.15 EMR experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS or ASLS, CPI
• Charge nurse responsibilities may apply
• Nurses perform own lab draws and start own IVs
• Work in a high-volume department seeing approximately 180-200 patient visits per day
• Treat patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics including trauma, CVA, ortho, and neuro cases
• Work alongside nurse aides, paramedics (5-6 per shift), security, and patient sitters
• 24/7 respiratory therapy support dedicated to the ER
• Central monitoring tech and in-department pharmacy support available
• 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psych team on unit
