X-Ray Technician

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts with schedules either 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM based on schedule needs
• Block scheduling with weekend coverage required (4 weekend shifts per contract)
• Required to work every other holiday
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of experience required
• Cerner charting system experience required
• May float within hospital and sister facilities within 10-mile radius when needed
• Work with all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS (AHA)
• Valid PA license or Compact license required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing
• Must complete drug screen and labs within 24-48 hours of signing
• Must be cleared by Wednesday before start date
• Clock in/out using badge with supervisor sign-off required on timesheets
• Complete mandatory modules (approximately 1 hour, non-billable)
• Extensive skills required including various imaging procedures, trauma cases, contrast studies, and specialized equipment operation
