NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours required
• No call requirements
• 2+ years of level 3 or 4 NICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• STABLE certification preferred
• Possible float to mother baby or pediatrics, but unlikely due to high census
• Black scrubs required
• Patient ratios depend on acuity: typically 3 feeders, 2 CPAP, 1 nitric, or 1 cooling patient
• Care for level 3 NICU infants including high frequency vents, conventional vents, CPAP, NIMV, HFNC, nitric, whole body cooling
• Perform OG/NG/PO feedings, manage UAC, UVC, PICC, PIV lines
• Attend high risk deliveries and all cesarean section deliveries
• Work with EPIC electronic medical record system
• 25 bed unit plus overflow beds on pediatric floor
