CT Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

You will provide diagnostic imaging support as a CT Technologist at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. This is a weekday overnight position working Monday through Thursday, 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM EST, with on-call and callback coverage as needed per unit requirements.

Your responsibilities include:

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging services
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing procedures
• Position patients appropriately, including safe patient handling techniques for patients with limited mobility
• Maintain accurate patient records by documenting all components within EPIC
• Identify images and ensure proper transmission to the PACS system upon exam completion
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility

Required qualifications:

• Formal training from an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Current certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• New York State licensure (must obtain prior to start date)
• Two years of experience, including Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Six months of Siemens scanner experience
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Patient and compassionate disposition with team player mentality

Preferred qualifications:

• One year of Epic experience
• Injection certification (willing to complete during orientation)
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment

This 89-day assignment begins July 6, 2026. You will work 10-hour shifts and earn $3,003 per week.
