Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work in medical surgical unit with varied work schedule
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in medical records
• Participate in patient and family education
• May supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Must possess current valid RN license in Wyoming
• Wyoming DFS and BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in medical surgical specialty area within past 12 months preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
