Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Abilene, TX

You'll work as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas, providing specialized care in pelvic and perinatal health.

Schedule & Pay

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Weekly pay: $2,822.40
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: June 22, 2026

Your Role

You'll evaluate and treat patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups, all with pelvic and perinatal health needs. Your typical day includes 11–13 scheduled patient visits (averaging 9–10 actual visits due to cancellations). You'll work with a full range of rehabilitation equipment, including an indoor pool for therapeutic interventions.

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist license in hand at time of application
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pelvic and perinatal health
• Strong experience evaluating and treating pelvic and perineal health conditions
• Manual therapy experience strongly preferred
• Charting system experience required (Altera preferred but not required)
• Travel healthcare experience preferred
• Certification verification required at hire

Pre-Employment

• Complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting the position
• Facility-conducted drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing
• Non-billable orientation modules averaging 6–8 hours
• Local radius restriction: 50 miles for Allied/CNA positions
