Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 x 10 hour shifts with possible weekends and call
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• On-call hours on a rotational basis, usually 8-9 shifts per month
• 30-minute response time from time of page for call situations
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, and IEMA
• Previous cardiac catheterization lab experience required
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• McKesson cardiology PACS experience preferred but not required
• Work with EPIC EMR system, PACS, and McKesson equipment
• Job duties include scrubbing, monitoring hemodynamics, and circulating
• Work in 6-suite cardiac catheterization lab handling 10-15 cases per day on average
• Hospital provides scrubs
• Orientation typically lasts 3-5 days with 12 guaranteed non-billable orientation hours
• No floating requirements at this time
• Primary charge nurse coverage from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Must maintain active Illinois license
