PCU Registered Nurse Job in Asheville, NC

You will join Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a travel position created to backfill an existing contractor role.

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Progressive Care Unit
• Shift: 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: July 13, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,102.40

As an RN in the PCU, you will provide direct patient care to individuals who require intermediate-level monitoring and support. You will assess vital signs, administer medications, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure patient safety and comfort during their recovery process. The PCU bridges acute and general med-surg care, giving you experience with patients transitioning from higher acuity settings.

This position offers you the flexibility of travel nursing combined with the stability of a defined contract length. You will work alongside experienced clinical staff and gain exposure to progressive care protocols in a community hospital setting.
