Histology Tech - Histology Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM shift Monday through Friday
• Weekend requirements apply
• Holiday requirements when staffing needed
• No on-call or standby call requirements
• Minimum 2 years experience required, 3 years preferred
• Associates degree preferred
• Must have HT (Histotechnician) or HLT (Histotechnologist) Certification through ASCP
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
• Perform routine histology procedures including embedding and microtomy
• Conduct immunohistochemistry (IHC) and special stains
• Work with digital pathology systems
• Must be detail-oriented and accurate
• Utilize Epic Beaker LIS tracking and EMR system
• Work with Roche equipment
• Professional dress code in any professional colors
• Complete organization orientation on day one and lab orientation on day two
• Must reside within 60 miles of facility
• License verification required for submission
