<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Intervnt Radiology Techno - Intervnt Radiology Techno</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Perform high quality multi-modality imaging support during interventional procedures using fluoroscopic, ultrasound, and computed tomography equipment<br>• Schedule patients for hospital transportation and coordinate with anesthesia, med/surg teams, and ICU to minimize delays<br>• Create procedural orders when necessary and confirm patient identity and procedural consent<br>• Maintain room procedure sheets documenting procedures performed and supplies used<br>• Input procedural information including biopsy passes, pressure measurements, fluoroscopy time and dose, and contrast amounts<br>• Complete image manipulation and transmission to IMPAX from various imaging units<br>• Operate single plane and bi-plane digital imaging systems, ultrasound, CT scan, IVUS, power injector, and specialized equipment<br>• Perform portable interventional procedures requiring ultrasound equipment<br>• Assist interventional proceduralist as first assist with sterile back table and supply management<br>• Practice optimum radiation protection for patients and staff<br>• Prepare patients using sterile technique and assist with hemodynamic monitoring<br>• Perform systems checks and quality control testing on equipment<br>• IR, NIR and Vascular experience required; Siemens experience preferred<br>• Required certifications: ARRT registry, BLS or ACLS certification<br>• Must maintain continuing education requirements annually<br>• Accredited Associate's Degree or completion of accredited Radiologic Sciences Program required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This academic medical center is a leading healthcare institution that provides comprehensive interventional radiology services with state-of-the-art imaging technology.
