Occupational Therapist

Opportunity:

OT - Therapy Rehab Inpatient

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Float to other units may be required depending on candidate availability, with preference to remain in Inpatient Rehab
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Patient ratio of 6 patients per day, nights, and weekends
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Work with patients diagnosed with CVA, cardiac conditions, pulmonary conditions, amputations, myopathy, and debility
• Perform IRF-PAI documentation and provide therapy 3 hours per day per patient
• Utilize lifts and transfer equipment
• Work within a 12-room inpatient rehab unit with a daily census of 9
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certification: BLS
• Active North Carolina license must be in hand at time of submission
