ICU RN Job in Rochester, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for a 12-bed intensive care unit at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. This is a travel assignment lasting 89 days, starting July 6, 2026. You will earn $2,368.08 weekly working 12-hour shifts.

You will provide specialized nursing care in a medical/surgical intensive care unit focused on critically ill neuro patients. Your patient population includes those with traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurologic pathologies. The unit features brand new, state-of-the-art facilities designed to support complex acute care.

Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver high-level specialized nursing and medical care to critically ill patients
• Assume charge duties as needed per unit requirements
• Work on a D/E/N rotation schedule with holiday, on-call, and callback responsibilities
• Maintain current knowledge of critical care practices
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills

Requirements:

• Current New York RN license (New York license only)
• Minimum two years of RN experience with ICU acute care experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
