Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Lexington, KY

VNA Health at Home - Lexington is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for home health care. This is a full-time position running 91 days, starting August 10, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotating weekend schedule (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
• 5 eight-hour days per week
• Weekly pay: $1,514
• Holiday rotation required

Role Responsibilities

• Treat approximately 6.5 patients per day
• Perform start of care (SOC), resumption of care (ROC), recertifications, evaluations, and daily visits
• Work in a home health care setting with common diagnoses including CHF, orthopedic conditions, and pneumonia

Requirements and Experience

• Kentucky PTA license in hand upon submission
• Home Care Home Base (HCHB) experience required
• Home health experience required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• New graduates are not encouraged to apply

Support and Training

• 2-week orientation with a work coach for department-specific training
• Clinical manager or educator available 24/7 for emergencies and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for general support
