Sterile Processing Technician Job in Lafayette, IN

You will work as a Sterile Processing Technician in the Central Sterile Reprocessing (CSR) Department at Franciscan Health Lafayette. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting July 27, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 4x10 night shifts
• Hours: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Thursday
• Alternating weekends: 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call or float requirements

Compensation and Benefits

• $1,514 weekly pay
• Scrubs provided by facility

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree or equivalent
• CRCST certification required
• Minimum 1 year of travel healthcare experience

About the Role

You will be responsible for preparing, sterilizing, and storing surgical instruments and equipment in the Central Sterile Reprocessing Department. Your work ensures that all instruments meet safety and quality standards for patient care. You will follow established protocols for cleaning, inspection, packaging, and sterilization procedures.

This position offers stable, predictable hours with no unexpected call-ins or floating to other departments. The facility provides scrubs, reducing your personal expenses during the assignment.
