Diagnostic Imaging - Radiologic Technologist

Job Details:

• Work Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Perform diagnostic radiographic, portable, c-arm and fluoroscopic procedures
• Review patient clinical history and ensure appropriate orders are placed with labs within range
• Provide patient education and positioning for optimal anatomic demonstration
• Select and operate imaging equipment, image capture devices and accessories
• Determine radiographic technique and exposure factors following ALARA principles
• Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others
• Process images and review for proper identification and quality control
• Use radiology information systems including PACS for documentation and reporting
• Initiate basic life support when necessary
• Submit images and data for physician review and interpretation
• Graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology required with education verification
• ARRT Radiography registration required
• WI-DSPS radiographer license required
• AHA Provider level BLS certification required
• Report and document safety incidents and adverse events per protocol
