Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - CCU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• Start date: ASAP<br>• Floating requirement to other locations as needed<br>• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of patient population served<br>• Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner<br>• Demonstrate performance consistent with unit and organizational standards<br>• Required certifications: Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license, BLS Certification from AHA, ACLS Certification from AHA, TNCC<br>• Must be graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing<br>• Requires current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served<br>• Must communicate clearly and appropriately to developmental age of patient<br>• Handle emergency/crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking<br>• Perform heavy physical effort to position, push and/or transfer patients or equipment<br>• Work requires considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching<br>• Must have manual dexterity and fine motor coordination<br>• Work in bloodborne pathogen environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This regional medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with a focus on quality patient care and safety.
