CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• 2 weekend shifts of 12 hours each from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• 2 daytime shifts of 8 hours each from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• No on-call requirements
• Scrub color: Any
• First time travelers accepted
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and BLS
• Charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must be proficient with imaging equipment including GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba
• Must be experienced with PACS systems
• Perform CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma with and/or without contrast
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Perform venipuncture and start peripheral IVs
• Treat patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Work in emergency department and ICU settings
• Follow radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions/PPE requirements
• Valid state license or certification required at time of submission
