Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts including weekdays and weekends
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratio based on acuity with possible overflow patients requiring step down level of care
• Must have ACT (Activated Clotting Time) experience
• 2+ years of RN experience required
• Must be experienced in direct fresh open-heart admissions from OR, pressure monitoring, and Swan-Ganz management
• Required expertise in Impella monitoring and CRRT
• Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
• 13-week contract with possible extension
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• May occasionally float to Medical ICU or Step Down Unit
• Blocked schedules only considered for weekend-only requests (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon)
• No scrubs provided
• Electronic medical records system: Cerner
• Care for adults and geriatric patients in 10-bed unit
• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
