Med Surg RN Job in Neenah, WI

ThedaCare - Neenah is hiring a Registered Nurse for a 10-week travel assignment in Medical-Surgical nursing. You will work 3 nights per week on 12-hour shifts, beginning at 5:30 PM, with every weekend required. This role offers 36 guaranteed hours per week and no on-call or callback obligations.

About the Role:

• Care for trauma surgical, neuro, and ortho patients on a med-surg unit
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 during night shifts
• Float throughout ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius based on your skillset
• Holiday rotation participation required

Required Experience & Credentials:

• Minimum 3+ years of RN experience
• Minimum 2+ years of Med-Surg experience with at least 1 travel assignment completed
• Previous travel experience required; no applicants within 50 miles of ThedaCare Corporate
• Wisconsin RN License, AHA BLS, and NIHSS certification
• EPIC charting experience within the last 2 years
• Neuro and ortho trauma surgery experience
• Associate degree or certificate in nursing required

Essential Skills:

• Chest tubes
• PCA/epidural/Q-ball management
• Continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
• Post-op neuro trauma surgery care
• Post-op ortho trauma surgery care

Additional Details:

• Black scrubs required
• 8-hour unbillable orientation included
• Clinical interview required as part of the hiring process

Weekly pay is $2,332.80. Assignment begins June 29, 2026.
