Registered Nurse - ICU @ Verde Valley Medical Center

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week with facility allowed to call off 6 times throughout 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be open to floating between ICU and MS/TELE units as needed
• ICU patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2, MS/TELE ratios: 1:4 or 1:5
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: Active Arizona RN license or compact license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• No on-call responsibilities
• 24 hours of orientation
• Work in flex pool serving critically ill patients of all types
• Must have neuro and trauma experience
• PCU and/or MS/TELE work history strongly preferred
• Daily census: 6-8 patients in 11-room, 13-bed unit
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Skills required: arterial line management, ventilated patient care, central line management, stroke management, ICP monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, spinal cord injury care
• Standard med/surg/tele equipment with Liko lifts available in patient rooms
