Opportunity:

Certified Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Friday
• Call requirement for additional coverage
• Must be expert first scrub for open heart cases
• Past travel experience required - no local candidates accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience required along with prior travel experience
• Prepare operating room including sterile field, surgical equipment, supplies and solutions
• Pass instruments, fluids and supplies to surgeon during procedures
• Prepare and manage surgical equipment throughout operations
• Simultaneously manage sterile field and specimens
• Perform accurate counts of sponges and supplies to prevent foreign retained objects
• Must hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification following completion of CAAHEP-accredited program and national CST examination administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
