Echo Technologist Job in Sioux City, IA

Join UnityPoint - St. Luke's Downtown as an Echo Technologist on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work days (5x8 schedule) beginning July 13, 2026, earning $2,851.20 weekly.

Role Overview

You will work as a cardiovascular sonographer with vascular expertise, performing 7–8 scans daily as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team. Your responsibilities include:

• Performing comprehensive vascular sonography including renal, pre-operative, and pain mapping studies
• Executing all vascular diagnostic processes with full technical proficiency
• Potentially floating within the same discipline across local UnityPoint campuses as staffing needs arise
• On-call duties: 1–2 shifts per week and 1–2 weekends per month depending on census
• Working 1–2 of the 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential (active Iowa license required at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular/vascular sonographer experience
• At least 1 completed travel contract
• Current certifications: RDCS/RVT, BLS (AHA or ARC), and ARDMS or CCI certification
• Epic EMR proficiency
• Professional reference from within the past 24 months (preferred)
• Skills checklist specific to cardiovascular/vascular sonography discipline
