Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 4x12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (3x12 schedule will also be considered)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
• Float within scope to meet facility needs may be required
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule requests can be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
• Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers will not be considered
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Preferred experience: Telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of dysrhythmias
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• No parking cost
• Serves adult and geriatric patient populations
• Common patient diagnoses include chest pain, CHF, COPD, CVA, diabetes, dysrhythmia, pneumonia, sepsis, wound care, and post-surgical care
• Skills include colostomy/ileostomy care, feeding tube management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, peripheral line care, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and social services
