Telemetry RN Job in Alexandria, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a Telemetry position at CHRISTUS St Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 6, 2026.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Telemetry (cardiac and telemetry patients, not a step-down unit)
• Shift: 3x12-hour days, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; no on-call responsibilities
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing
• Floating to other units required
• Weekly pay: $2,312.64

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide patient and family education

Requirements:

• RN degree (Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred)
• RN license in state of employment or compact license required
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA
• Epic experience required
• One year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred

Onboarding:

• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days
• Complete precepted on-boarding with competency validation
• Temporary to permanent position possibility
