Endoscopy RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

BUMC Phoenix is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Endoscopy department. You will work a 4x10 day shift schedule with no weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements, allowing you predictable time off each week.

In this role, you will rotate through Pre-Op, Procedural, and PACU areas, providing direct patient care across the full scope of endoscopy services. Your responsibilities include:

• Performing comprehensive patient assessments—physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural—and identifying discharge planning needs
• Reviewing patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; reporting abnormal results to appropriate caregivers
• Formulating and implementing individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care according to professional nursing practice standards
• Delegating and supervising activities of licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members
• Documenting assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional certification in endoscopy nursing

Assignment Details: 89-day contract starting October 5, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,558.
