ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Job Details:

• Rotating weekend and holiday schedule required
• Possible call and float to support units as needed
• Varied work schedule with flexible assignments
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for ICU patients
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and developmental needs
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate care activities, and supervise healthcare team members
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in medical records
• Evaluate patient progress and revise care plans as needed
• Participate in patient and family education
• Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as registered nurse in specialty area
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 75 pounds, and responding quickly to patient needs
