X-Ray Technician

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Shift times vary between 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No floating or on-call responsibilities
• 1 year of experience required
• Work setting experience required in Adult Acute Care, Bedside/Portable Procedures, and Adult Outpatient
• Required certifications: ARRT R and BLS
• Must have experience with Epic charting system
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Scrub color requirements: Navy, Black, or Grey
• Work with patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform various imaging procedures including chest X-rays, extremity imaging, spinal imaging, contrast studies, and portable procedures
• Experience with PACS systems and radiation safety protocols required
• Must be proficient in preparation and administration of contrast media
• 40 hours of orientation provided
