Med Surg RN Job in Birmingham, AL

You will provide direct medical-surgical nursing care to patients at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. This is a 13-week travel assignment offering the flexibility and experience you seek in your nursing career.

Position Details

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing
• Shift: 3x12 nights, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Alternating weekends required
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: May 19, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $1,839.60

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based medical-surgical nursing care
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff
• Document patient information in the Cerner electronic health record system
• Support patient comfort and recovery goals

Requirements

• Active RN license in Alabama
• BLS certification
• Cerner EHR experience
• Permanent address located 50+ miles from the facility
