Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend coverage required, likely every other weekend
• Patient ratio of 6:1 on nights, 5:1 on days and weekends
• Must have minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed per contract
• Expected to work 1 of 2 upcoming holidays and surrounding days
• Will float to all medical surgical floors and potentially rehabilitation unit
• May care for COVID patients
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility
• 8-hour orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including CHF exacerbations, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, general surgery, orthopedic patients, COPD, and sepsis
• Work with specialized equipment including Artisight virtual nurses and virtual sitters
• Manage patients with ports, central lines, chest tubes, feeding tubes, telemetry monitoring, and various cardiac protocols
• No call requirements
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete)
