Med Surg RN Job in Tallahassee, FL

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced RN for a 91-day travel assignment on the Diabetes Medical Care Unit at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare in Tallahassee, FL. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week, starting November 9, 2026, and earn $2,176 weekly.

About the Role

As an RN on this med surg unit, you'll provide direct patient care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6. Your responsibilities include managing insulin drips and collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team. Floating is required; you'll be among the first called to support other units within the med surg division to ensure continuity of care across the service line.

Position Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in med surg or related nursing
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
• Current Florida nursing license or valid compact license
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience with insulin drips
• EPIC electronic health record experience required (EPIC training will be provided during orientation)

Schedule & Benefits

You'll work day shifts on a 3x12 schedule with no on-call responsibilities. Weekend and holiday coverage is required as part of this assignment. Orientation is held every Monday to support your transition into the facility and systems.
