Pharmacist Job in Peridot, Arizona

You will work as a Pharmacist at Arizona San Carlos Apache Healthcare Center in Peridot, Arizona. This is a 96-week travel position with a 10-hour shift on a rotating schedule including days, nights, swings, and weekends.

About the role:

• Process approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily in a timely manner
• Provide outpatient services and inpatient/ER coverage as needed
• Counsel patients on medications and answer therapeutic questions
• Handle controlled substances in compliance with policy and federal law
• Maintain current clinical knowledge and adapt to different pharmacy settings
• Work with ScriptPro Pharmacy Management System and SP200 Robot
• Use RPMS Electronic Health Record system
• Operate Omnicell ADCs, Carousel, and Kirby Lester counting machines
• No on-call requirements

Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited pharmacy school or PharmD
• Current and active unrestricted state pharmacy license (Arizona preferred)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (PALS may be obtained on-site)
• Hospital experience (inpatient or outpatient) required
• Recent hospital experience and ER experience required
• Two years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred
• Must pass background check and drug screen

• Two-hour notice required for call-ins

Compensation:

Weekly pay is $3,289. Assignment begins July 6, 2026.
