About this role
You'll work as an Interventional Radiology Technologist at HCA Florida JFK Hospital in Atlantis, providing technical support in our Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures units. This is a backfill position running 91 days, with day shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Your Role
You'll support four procedure rooms, each maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio. The day shift team includes a Charge RN, Director, and four staff members per room for a total of 16 team members. You'll work with GE Innova equipment across all rooms and use Meditech and MacLab EMR systems to document patient care.
Procedures You'll Support
- Cardiac catheterization
- Cerebral angiograms
- Stent and balloon placements
- ENT lab procedures
- Scrubbing and positioning as needed
Requirements and Credentials
You must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification is required. RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification is preferred.
What to Expect
This is a fast-paced environment where flexibility and team collaboration matter. On-call coverage is frequent, and you'll need to adapt quickly to unit needs. The team emphasizes relationship-building through daily huddles and close-knit working relationships with the Director, staff, and patients. Surgical scrubs are provided by the unit.
Compensation and Schedule
You'll earn $2,628 per week working 5x8 shifts. Your assignment begins May 26, 2026.
