SLP Job in Syracuse, NY

You will work as a Speech Language Pathologist at SUNY Upstate University Hospital - Downtown Campus in Syracuse, New York. This is a 5x8 days position with an 84-day duration, starting January 26, 2026. Your weekly pay is $3,078.40.

Schedule and Responsibilities:

• Work 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift schedule
• Must work one weekend every other month
• Primarily outpatient experience during weekdays, inpatient work on weekends
• Administer evaluations and diagnose speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Establish and provide treatment programs for individuals with deficits in speech, language, cognitive, voice and/or swallowing disorders
• Schedule patients for evaluation and treatments based on patient needs
• Provide education to patients, families and staff regarding various speech and language disorders
• Prepare reports and communicate with referral sources and treatment agencies
• Participate in program development for speech therapy discipline and PM&R department
• Participate in community programs

Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech Pathology
• New York State licensure
• Clinical certification in Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
• Completion of clinical fellowship year
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
