Med Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

HCA HealthONE Swedish CO is seeking an RN for a Med Surg position on a Neuro Med Surg unit in Denver, CO. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting June 29, 2026.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3x12 day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Unit: 38-bed Neuro Med Surg unit with 55 staff members
• Patient Ratios: 4–5:1 or 5–6:1 RN ratio (estimated)
• Weekly Pay: $1,708.20

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform NIH and stroke assessments
• Conduct neuro and fall risk assessments
• Provide trach care and feeding tube management
• Monitor patients using IV pumps, seizure monitoring equipment, BiPAP, CPAP, and glucometers
• Work collaboratively with 2 charge nurses and 2 PCTs on day shift

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year acute care hospital Med Surg experience
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• Neuro nursing experience
• Meditech EHR experience

You will work with the Meditech electronic medical record system and join a collaborative team environment. Success in this role requires strong critical thinking skills, the ability to multitask, initiative, and flexibility in a fast-paced acute care setting.
