Physical Therapist Job in Port Charlotte, FL

HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for inpatient care across all floors of the main hospital building. This is a travel position ideal for clinicians looking to expand their acute care experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide PT evaluation and treatment services to inpatient populations
• Manage 9–10 patients per day at a 75% productivity standard
• Work across floors 1–4 in the main hospital building
• Collaborate with approximately 20 PT caregivers on the team
• Use Meditech electronic medical record system and mobility equipment

Schedule & Compensation

• 5 days per week, 8 AM–4:30 PM
• 91-day assignment starting December 30, 2025
• $1,752 weekly pay
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation with hospital employees

Requirements

• Valid Florida PT license
• MPT or DPT degree from an accredited college or university
• Acute care experience required
• Meditech experience preferred
• ICU experience preferred
• Collaborative, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
