ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• EPIC experience required (HARD STOP)
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No call responsibilities
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in 21-bed ICU
• Holiday requirements: work 1 holiday if 1 falls during assignment, work both if 2 fall during assignment, work 2 of 3 if 3 fall during assignment
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• GA or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator care, central line management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, vasoactive drip titration, and comprehensive critical care procedures
• Full compliance required to start on time; 2-week pushback for non-compliance due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy
