Endoscopy RN Job in Richmond, VA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy department at Henrico Doctors Hospital-Forest VA, circulating and assisting with a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM (4x10 Days)
• Duration: 91 days
• Weekly pay: $2,106

Your Role

You will circulate and tech in endoscopy suites, managing a 1:1 patient ratio in your circulator role. You will also staff the PACU with up to 2 patients and preop areas with 1:1 ratios during questioning, scaling to 1:3 while patients wait. Each room has 1 circulator and 1 tech assigned, with a designated scope washer for the shift. You will participate in the morning huddle before each day begins.

Procedures and Equipment

You will perform and assist with advanced procedures including ERCP, EUS, robotic bronchoscopy, and EBUS. Additional procedures include colonoscopy, EGD, Pill Cam, Bravos, ION, and bronchoscopy. You will operate Olympus scopes, OER Elite washers, and ION robots. Documentation occurs in Meditech Expanse and Provation systems.

Requirements

You must hold a current RN license and have more than 1 year of endoscopy experience. You must demonstrate the ability to perform advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS. You will float to the ASC and surrounding facilities as needed. Hospital-issued scrubs are required as your dress code.
