Med Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

HCA HealthONE Swedish CO is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment in the Medical/Surgical unit. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on the 5East-Women's Surgery Unit, which has 18 beds and operates at a 6:1 patient ratio.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform post-operative assessments and patient care
• Provide post-prostatectomy and post-hysterectomy care
• Manage continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
• Maintain Foley catheters and monitor fluid balance
• Handle pain management including PCAs and epidurals
• Operate standard medical and surgical equipment
• Collaborate with the surgical team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience

Preferred Qualifications

• GYN/Oncology and Urology experience
• Post-operative care background
• Meditech EMR experience
