Opportunity:

RN - Oncology

Job Details:

• Work 4x9-hour day shifts Monday through Friday with no weekend or holiday requirements
• Shift options include 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 4x8-hour shifts (7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM)
• Same day off each week
• No on-call, standby, or floating requirements
• Perform phone triage, patient education, and care coordination
• Conduct over-the-phone screenings and monitor lab results
• Manage patient symptoms and collaborate with other triage RNs and advanced practice providers
• Handle 10-20 calls per day depending on complexity and triage inflow
• Work with patients diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic disorders, and other blood cancers
• Never working alone - always have another nurse available as a resource
• Minimum 2 years of oncology experience required (inpatient, ambulatory, or infusion experience accepted)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Bone marrow transplant experience preferred
• Triage experience preferred
• OCN or BMTCN certification preferred
• Required certifications: BLS
• Business casual attire or scrubs required
