MRI Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking an MRI Technologist to join its radiology and cardiology imaging department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 4x10 hour shifts: 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $2,448
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Role Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive MRI procedures including brain, spine, extremities, and specialized imaging
• Handle varied daily caseload with inpatient, ER, and outpatient cases
• Float within scope to other buildings on campus as needed
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Be prepared for emergency response team assignment during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current MR (ARRT) certification
• Siemens MRI equipment experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Level 1 Trauma experience
• Epic charting system experience
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
