Occupational Therapist Outpatient Job in Sarasota, FL

You will work as an Occupational Therapist in the outpatient setting at Sarasota Memorial Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026.

Schedule & Setting

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• Start times: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No float requirement
• 8 patients per day with one-on-one 60-minute sessions

Clinical Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population including stroke, spinal cord injury, head injury, and Parkinson's disease. Your responsibilities include conducting outpatient occupational therapy with emphasis on neuro rehabilitation. You will use the Fugl-Meyer Upper Extremity Assessment as a core evaluation tool. Experience with paired vagus nerve stimulation protocol (Vivistim) is valued. Vestibular therapy experience is preferred. If interested, there are opportunities to work with musculoskeletal diagnoses.

Requirements

• Prior outpatient occupational therapy experience required
• Neuro occupational therapy experience required
• Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn the Fugl-Meyer Upper Extremity Assessment
• BLS certification required

Compensation & Duration

You will earn $2,365.20 weekly on a 5x8 schedule. This assignment runs for 91 days.
