Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 5 years of experience preferred as RRT or 5 years experience as CRT
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT
• Adult Critical Care/ED experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Weekend coverage required
• Two pre-approved time off days per contract
• Must be willing to float within facility and potentially to affiliate hospital nearby
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Charting system: Cerner
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission
• Skills include: aerosol setup, BiPAP/CPAP, mechanical ventilation, ABG interpretation, intubation assistance, chest physiotherapy, high flow nasal cannula, and various respiratory medications
• Maximum assignment length of 365 days regardless of time off between contracts
• Separation period of at least six months required to return as traveler
• Virtual modules completed on first day: 8 hours for new starts, with annual requirements varying by specialty
