Med Surg RN Job in Carlsbad, NM

Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical inpatient nursing unit. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning May 11, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• Work 3 shifts per week at 12.5 hours each
• Day shift: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Floating and on-call required for census flex prior to scheduled shifts when census is low
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated with advance notice

Role Details

• Provide direct patient care on a general medical-surgical unit
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• EMR system: MedHost
• Any color scrubs permitted

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of nursing experience required
• Active RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred

Additional Information

• Weekly pay: $1,782
• All New Mexico travelers must complete fingerprinting
• Auto offers extended; interviews not required
