Operating Room RN Job in Plano, TX

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Medical City Plano. This is a 91-day travel position with flexibility built into your schedule.

Schedule and Compensation

• Primary shift: Wednesday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM (three 12-hour days per week)
• On-call availability: 5–6 shifts per month with options for 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Monday–Thursday) or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Sunday night)
• Weekly pay: $1,971
• Start date: May 25, 2026

Role Details

• No floating required—you stay in the OR
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• EMR system: Meditech
• Scrub color: Ceil blue or royal blue

Clinical Focus

The department handles a wide range of surgical specialties. You will support procedures in orthopedics, neuro/spine, robotics, plastics, and trauma. Specific case types include neuro/spine, orthopedic trauma, total joint replacements and revisions, robotic-assisted surgeries (gynecology, colorectal, thoracic, urology), plastic procedures, and Level 1 trauma cases.

Facility Information

Medical City Plano is a 24/7 staffed operating room with both 10- and 12-hour shift options available. You will be joining a team that manages high-acuity surgical cases and trauma.
