Telemetry RN Job in Tucson, AZ

You will work as a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry unit at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. This is a float pool position, which means you will have the flexibility and responsibility to support patient care across multiple departments and facilities as needed.

Schedule and Compensation

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 48-hour guarantee available
• Six weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Weekly pay: $1,971
• 91-day assignment starting May 4, 2026

Role Expectations

• Provide direct patient care with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Apply the Nursing Process in accordance with Arizona Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care planning
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel

Requirements

• Current Arizona nursing license
• 2 or more years of nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Cerner EMR experience required
