Cath Lab Technologist Job in Tyler, TX

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist in the Cardiac Cath Lab at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital Tyler. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 20, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (Saturday through Monday, 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• $1,445.40 weekly

Your Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complicated laboratory procedures including specimen processing and handling
• Test patient specimens, calculate and report results
• Perform quality control procedures and operate laboratory instrumentation
• Utilize the Laboratory Information System for data entry and verification
• Process patient specimens with attention to minimal pediatric specimen volumes
• Provide notification and documentation of critical laboratory values
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
• Cross-train to other laboratory sections as needed
• Demonstrate excellent Transfusion Service and Blood Banking skills
• Adapt patient care methods to accommodate unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific needs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science
• Current certification as MT, MLS, CLS, or MLT from ASCP, AMT, AAB, or HEW/HHS
• One year of approved clinical laboratory experience including rotations through Blood Banking, Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids
